# API client

> createClient: typed calls for every VibeKast API endpoint, with no dependencies.

## Options

**baseUrl** `string` (default: [https://www.vibekast.xyz](https://www.vibekast.xyz))

API origin.

**fetch** `typeof fetch`

Custom fetch implementation, for example for testing or a proxy.

**headers** `Record\<string, string\>`

Extra headers sent with every request.

**timeoutMs** `number`

Abort requests that take longer than this.

## Methods

`market` is either a market address or `"latest"` for this week's market.

## Paging trades

`getTrades` returns trades a page at a time. Pass `nextFromBlock` back as `fromBlock` while `hasMore` is true:

When `complete` is true the market has closed and every block has been scanned. For an open market that has caught up, `hasMore` is false and you can poll from `nextFromBlock` later.

## Building an order without signing

`buildOrder` returns unsigned transactions. Sign and send them in order with any wallet, or let the [trader](/sdk/trader) do it with checks.
